Like the title of the first book this series is a thing of magic. It puts a whole new spin on the idea of the seventh son and interlocks it with betrayal, romance and dragons! It is a seven book series, following the theme of the seventh son of the seventh son. Each book is a whole new adventure that all links up with the final book. Angie Sage did a great job on the Septimus Heap series and it has been a best seller for over 10 years and still manages to be with the fashion of our time. While the books are quite thick they are easy to sink into and a great read. If you like everything to do with magic, dragons and evil wizards then you will like this series. I guarantee it.
