I really like Jeff Kinney’s books, in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, because each one has a different story to tell and the way they change is interesting. When reading the books, it is fun to look at the pictures drawn as well. Reading these books takes you on a magical journey.
The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series is very popular with the younger grades and its easy to see why. The books are written in such a way that it makes you feel part of the story and the pictures allow your imagination to really put you in amongst the characters. When I look at the font and layout of the pages, such that it looks neatly handwritten, it makes me believe that anyone can be writer in a way. It is a very enjoyable design for a book.
